24–26 мая 2018 года в ЦВК «Экспоцентр» в Москве состоялась десятая юбилейная Международная конференция и выставка «Гидроизоляция подземных и заглубленных сооружений — AQUASTOP», организованная Российским союзом строителей и группой компаний АЛИТ.
The official partners of the event became the International Metropolitan Association, the Moscow Metropolitan and the Underground Builders Union. The sponsor of the event was ASOKA LTD.
Conference was attended by more than 150 participants from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Georgia, Kazakhstan, China and other countries.
More than 40 Russian and international speakers presented their topics within the conference. Other events of the AQUASTOP were:
- The Round Table “Development of underground structures. The Regulatory Deficit”, where the guest discussed the necessity of improvement of the regulatory framework and the restoration of the constructional science
- Meeting of the specialists and headmen of the tunnel constructions and metropolitan services of Baku, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Minsk, Moscow and Tbilisi, where the experts shared their practical experience on waterproofing aspects and water control
- Andrei Shilin presented the topic “Contemporary normative approaches to waterproofing of underground and embedded structures during construction and repair. Russian and international experience”, which provoked heated discussion.
During the conference the exhibition AQUASTOP, devoted to waterproofing materials and technologies on Russian and CIS countries space took place. The leading companies of Russia and global market presented their expositions. AQUASTOP expo was attended by more than 400 visitors.
In the final day of the event the participants of the conference attended the technical excursion to the Moscow metropolitan station under construction. During the excursion the specialists visited one of the seven stations of the Solntsevskaya line opening in 2018, where they discussed the most interesting aspects of the waterproofing technologies applied under the capital of Russia.
